Place the teeth of the window trim tool underneath the trim on the auto glass.
Pull up the trim with the tool until the window trim comes away from the auto glass.
Grab the loose window trim with your free hand and pull it away from the glass.
Continue working the window trim tool under the window trim around the edge of the glass until all of the trim is removed.
