How to Rent a Public Pool for a Party
Having a pool party is a great way to celebrate a birthday, graduation or other special event in a person’s life. You can rent public pools for private parties in two ways: by renting the entire pool and facility or by renting an area of the park for your party. Either way, you will need to need to make plans in advance for your pool party.
- Contact your local public pool facility. If you need to find the telephone number or address, look it up using an online search engine or MerchantCircle.
- Stop by and see or call the party manager for the pool facility.
- Talk with the manager about reserving the pool for a party. You will need to know how many people you plan to invite and what day you would like to host your party.
- Discuss pricing options. It will be more expensive to rent the entire pool for a private party, but this may be a better choice depending on your situation. You may also want to discuss renting picnic areas or certain parts of the facility for your party.
- Decide on a date, time and price that will accommodate your needs.
- Sign a contract and give the manager the deposit money. The amount of the money is determined by individual pools and is usually required 30 days before the party date. Deposits are usually non-refundable, so make sure you have the date and time correct before making the deposit.
- Pay the remaining rental fee before the day of the party. It will be one less thing you need to worry about on the day of the party.
- Celebrate with friends and family at your pool party.
