How to Rent a Waverunner

If you love spending time on the lake in a fishing boat or pontoon, you should consider renting a WaveRunner.  These fun and exciting water vehicles can hold one or two people and let you drive at speeds near 30 miles per hour.  Like riding a motorcycle on water, a WaveRunner is a safe and fun way to spend the afternoon on the lake.

1. Find a reputable water sports rental facility near the lake or water area you will be visiting.  You can find these facilities by searching on MerchantCircle or another online search engine.

2. Call the facility to find out if a WaveRunner is available for the afternoon you wish to rent one.  WaveRunners are rented by the hour.  Determine the times that are available and ask to make a reservation.

3. Provide your name and contact information to the rental representative.

4. Check any legal requirements before renting the WaveRunner.  Some states require drivers to be at least 21 years of age.  Make sure that you meet these expectations before making the reservation.

5. Pay the required deposit for the rental.  You can pay this amount with a credit card over the phone.  This deposit is usually non-refundable, so be certain that you have the date and time correct for your WaveRunner rental.

6. Arrive to the WaveRunner facility at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time.  This will allow you time to pay the final costs, read the rental agreement and familiarize yourself with the WaveRunner.

7. Wear your swimming suit with protective sunscreen and eyewear.  You will also need to wear a life jacket while operating or riding on the WaveRunner.

8. Enjoy the time on the WaveRunner. Be sure to return it on time to avoid additional fees.
