How to Sell Cleaning Contracts

Cleaning contracts are developed and sold throughout the world every day. Cleaning is a very popular service that is both sought after and acquired. Millions of businesses offer cleaning services which makes finding a home for an extra job easy. Selling the cleaning contract is the hard part.

  1. Create a contract you want to sell. Include company information on top of the page. Include the different types of services being offered with boxes for checking off. Clarify wage amounts and how the services are billed.

  2. State how the payments should be made and when they are due. Include other details on the cleaning contract such as scheduling procedure and cancellation policies. Incorporate a blank for dates and signatures at the bottom of the page. Carefully examine and critique the contract.

  3. Describe the cleaning contract with an overview. List the location of service, schedule, tasks and any special needs.

  4.  Attach the description with the sale price written out and include the contract number to create a bid packet. Include an introduction page with your company name, address, phone number and license number. Explain that your company will accept bids with the intention to sell the bound cleaning contract.

  5. Research about 10-15 local cleaning services. Pick companies that are bonded and insured. Locate the phone numbers, email, address, and the manager's name.

  6.  Deliver your contract by email, mail, or personally and title the bid package, “Cleaning contract for sale.” Call after three days if you have not had a response to make certain it was received.

  7. Confirm the highest bid from the best vendor and talk with them to discuss further details. Create a seller's agreement and have a layer review it. Sign and notarize the agreement by a third party. Xerox a copy for the customer once the contract is negotiated and sold.
