How to Sell Collectibles On Craigslist
Craigslist is an online advertisement website that allows you to advertise services, jobs and items for sale locally- all for free. If you have an abundance of collectibles you want to sell locally, learn the appropriate steps to list your items on craigslist. When a buyer is interested in your collectibles you will automatically receive an email from the potential buyer.
- Open yourself an account with craigslist. It is not a requirement but it is very easy and it costs nothing. Plus it will make everything you post on craigslist much easier and help you automatically keep track of all of it.
- Pick your home state during the opening of the account.
- Looking at the left of the page you will see “My Account” listed just under the craigslist heading – click on it now.
- Follow the instructions to open an account by following the link on the very bottom left where it says “Sign up for an account”.
- Log in and you will be taken to a page called “Home of (your email address)”.
- Looking at the four tabs in the upper left hand corner and pick the tab labeled “New Posting”.
- Put your city or state in the box where it ask you to and it will take you to the “What type of posting this is” page.
- Click on the “for sale” line and click on continue.
- Go down to collectibles, check it and click continue again.
- Narrow down where you live on the next page and click and continue.
- Fill in the next page to list your collectible. The form is self-explanatory and all you have to do is fill it in, as you want the ad to run. You can also add pictures if you like which will help sell the item more quickly.
- Hit continue two more times you ad will be posted. It will also give you the opportunity to edit when you are done.
