- Open the program you have selected and locate the file you wish to send. You will also need to enter the recipient’s information in the appropriate fields.
- Enter the captcha code if there is one. Many of the programs that offer free services will require your input in this field in an effort to lower the amount of spammers that try to use their site.
- Send your fax to the recipient and wait for the delivery receipt. This proves to you that the fax was successfully sent.
- Sign up for a free trial to a different program if the limitations for the other free options are not enough. Depending on the service you choose to use, the trial period can range from as little as two days or as much as one month. This option is particularly useful if you only need to send the documents a few times and not as a business.
