How to Sew Panties

Certain types of underwear are very expensive. Depending upon the fabric that is used to make the underwear they may be easily torn. It is easy to repair torn panties with a little need and thread and after you are finish the torn area will not be noticeable.

1.Look at what type of fabric was used to make your panties. It may be necessary to use fabric from other old panties that you no longer wear. If this is not possible, you will have to visit a fabric store to get the fabric needed for the panties. In some cases, it may be best to just purchase a new pair of panties.

2.Look at the area where the panties need to be sewn. Determine what type of job you will have to do. Decide whether you just need to sew a ripped area or you will need to replace the fabric.

3.Find thread that is the same color as the panties. You can usually find thread and needle at most family department stores. If you cannot find the exact match, find something that is close to the color.

4.Take your needle and thread and begin sewing the rip of the panties from the bottom of the rip and up. As you approach the top of the tear cut your thread from the needle. 

5.Tie the thread as close to the base of your panties rip. Cut the remainder of the thread. You should be able to wear your panties as before.
