Plastic stacking patio chairs are great for a patio and any other seating in a home. They make great chairs for school functions or business rooms or offices. They are strong, sturdy and well made. They last a long time with proper care. Caring for them is very easy.
- Prepare the chairs for stacking by obtaining either wooden pallet or a stacking cart so that they can be moved easily at any time.
- Make sure to wipe down all of the chairs. You can do that either before or to save time wipe them down with a wet cloth as you stack them on the cart or pallet. When wiping the chairs do so with a disinfectant in the water or simply spray after with a disinfectant spray.
- Start putting the chair on the cart or pallet by putting a chair over the frame part of the cart or by stacking the first layer of chairs on cardboard set down on the pallet.
- Wipe down the chairs with a damp towel as you stack them to ensure that any spills or crumbs are removed and that the chairs will be clean for the next use. A disinfecting spray can be used if necessary.
- Keep stacking the chairs by putting the next chair on top of the other one by fitting the feet of one of the chair legs over the other chairs legs and then sitting the chair on top into place easily. Keep stacking the chairs the same way on all levels until you have about 10 chairs high in a row. You don't want the stacks to high because that leaves the danger of them becoming unstable.
- Move them to a location after they are stacked where they are safe and out of the way if they are not needed.
- Use either a large plastic tarp or stacking chair covers in vinyl. This will also help to keep them protected from the elements which can damage the chairs if they are left out in the open.
- If needed, the chairs can be locked safely by using a chain or even a cable. Put the cable or chain through and also around the stack. Once the chain or cable has been wound through and under the chairs lock it with a padlock.
