How to Treat High Creatine Levels

How to Take Creatine

Creatine is responsible for the production of ATP, which is the primary source of energy in the muscles. It is naturally made in the liver, pancreas and the kidneys, but there are supplements in many forms. Body builders take creatine serum to enhance their workouts. It is easier than the powder and doesn’t have the chalky after-taste.

  • Take the dropper that comes in the container of creatine serum and measure out 5 milliliters of serum into the dropper. This is the dosage that is generally recommended for most individuals. Make sure your doctor knows beforehand that you are taking this supplement, and ask if this is the correct dosage for you.

  • Take the dropper of creatine serum and put it under your tongue. Release the drops of serum out slowly under the tongue, allowing it to be slowly absorbed into your body.

  • Do not swallow serum; allow it to dissolve and absorb.

  • Take the dropper out of your mouth once all the serum is out of the device.

  • Wait about 10 minutes before eating or drinking anything after the creatine serum. This will make sure that all of the serum has been absorbed into the body and mucus membranes.

  • Creatine serum should be taken before any exercise, strength training, weight lifting, pilates, yoga, or other forms of workouts. This isn’t necessary on the days that you will not be working out, as your body and muscles will not require creatine on those days.

  • Not taking creatine serum on the days you are working out will risk losing the energy benefit.
