- Call the school of your choice to find out what programs they offer online. Many schools have a website that can be utilized to find out information. Most schools will send a catalog and information on their various programs if requested.
- Speak with an enrollment counselor. Enrollment counselors will help you decide on the program and classes that will need to be taken. They will also help you get the information you may need about paying for your tuition and books.
- Contact the financial aid office about the different programs you may qualify to help pay with your education. If it is determined you will need help paying for your tuition, you will be sent a financial aid package online to fill out.
- Register for classes. Once you are ready to pay for your classes you should register. Online classes fill up fast, so you want to register early. You will be able to do this through your enrollment counselor. In most cases this can be done over the phone and Internet.
- Purchase your books and supplies you will need for class. You should be able to purchase items directly from your schools bookstore. If not there may be bookstores in your area you can find books needed.
- Show up for the first day of class. You do not have to get dressed. All you need is your computer and log in information that was given to you upon registering.
