How to Track Down a Telecom Phone
Telecom is the largest telecommunication service provider in New Zealand. If you own a Telecom phone and want to track its position down, GPS is a great way to do it. After you install a piece of software that is free to your phone, you will be able to track it where ever it goes in the world.
Materials needed:
- GPS software
- Mobile phone with Internet
- Purchase a mobile phone tracking software. Most tracking software is free for your use. A few software programs that are good to use are: Instamapper, AmazeGPS and Google Maps for mobile. All of these programs will let you track your Telecom phone within hundreds of feet.
- Download and install the tracking software to the phone that you are going to be tracking. You are going to need to register by giving a password, user ID, cell phone number and an email address. After you have registered you are going to be taken to a download page. Download and install the program. Restart the phone as soon as you have installed the program.
- Go to the cell phone's menu and start up the applications folder. Open the GPS program and accept the terms. The program will start to transmit the location of the phone once the program is opened up.
- Log on to the website to track the phone. You can track the phone from a computer or some other Internet device such as a cell phone or a PDA. You should see the exact location of the phone on a map once you have logged in.
