- Open your existing version of the Windows Media Player application on your computer. If you use the player often, you should be able to access the application through a desktop shortcut or taskbar icon.
- Review available menu options listed at the top of the application. This is best accomplished by right clicking on the menu bar.
- Ensure that you are connected to a high speed internet connection.
- Select “help”, and then “check for updates” from the list of available options.
