How to Use Liquid Foundation
Although there are many different forms of makeup on the market, liquid foundation still remains one the most commonly used. Despite the growing popularity of certain types of foundation, such as mineral makeup, liquid is still in demand. This is partially due to its ease of use, even for women who are not accustomed to applying makeup.
- Pour a small amount of foundation on a clean cosmetic sponge.
- Dab the makeup onto your cheek, forehead, chin, the tip of your nose and each cheek.
- Use the clean side of the sponge to smooth out the foundation, using an upward and outward motion. Thoroughly blend each area into the next so that your makeup coverage is smooth. Be cautious about applying any further foundation to avoid putting the foundation on too heavily.
- Use the liquid foundation over your lips to help your lipstick adhere and last longer.
- Make sure to use it over your eyelids. Once set with powder this will increase how long your eyeshadow lasts.
