How to Use Toner for Anti-Aging Skin Care

Anti-aging products are big buisness these days. Products promoting that 40 is the new 30 have an almost undeniable appeal especially to the baby boomers who are coming into their Golden Years kicking and screaming.

No one wants to look their age anymore and these days you don't have too with the right products. Store-bought skin treatments such as anti-aging toners help us age gracefully and leave us coming back for more.

What You Will Need:

  • Cotton Balls or Squares

  • Gentle Anti-Aging Toner

  • A Clean Face

  • Headband

  • Mirror

  1. Put the headband on so that any hairs are pulled completely away from the face so you can easily put the toner all around the hairline, which is where a lot of grime from make-up, sweat and hair products can build up.

  2. Cleanse your face with a cleanser made for your type of skin.

  3. Saturate a cotton ball or square with toner.

  4. Carefully swab around the entire face concentrating on hard to reach areas such as beside the nostrils and the hairline along the forehead and front of the ears and just under the jawline in addition to the front of the forehead, cheeks, nose, above the lip and the chin.

  5. Let toner dry before putting on moisturizers or other treatments.

Research products made for mature skin to find a toner made to help skin look younger and fresher. Normally these would not contain alcohol, which is drying and dry skin looks can look older instead of refreshed and moisturized.

Toners help to remove leftover dirt a cleanser may miss and any residual cleanser too. Anti-aging toners also remove dead skin cells that makes it feel and look smoother. This is a gentler way to exfoliate than a skin scrub.
