How to Use a Hoover FloorMate

The Hoover FloorMate® is a product designed specifically to clean hard floors. The product can be used on a number of hard surfaces. The Hoover FloorMate® is convenient and useful because it works as a 3-in-1 product to get rid of dirt, dust, and debris.

1. Fill the Hoover FloorMate® with a Hoover brand cleaning solution prior to usage. You should use a Hoover brand cleaning solution because they are designed to work best with the Hoover FloorMate®.


2. Use your hand or foot to adjust the pedal. For example, you can choose dry pickup or wet pickup. Choose the appropriate setting for the particular surface you are cleaning.


3. Vacuum the floor with the Hoover FloorMate® to pick up any dirt and debris that is on the floor.


4. Use your foot to adjust the setting on the Hoover FloorMate® to wet scrub. The brushes on the Hoover FloorMate® will change position to properly scrub the floor.


5. Move the Hoover FloorMate® back and forth to ensure that all areas of the floor are being scrubbed.


6. Squeeze the prompt on the Hoover FloorMate® for the cleaning solution. By squeezing the prompt, the Hoover cleaning solution will be released on the floor during the scrub.


7. Clean out the tank of the Hoover FloorMate® when you are completely finished using it. If you do not properly clean out the tank, the next time you use the product, it will not turn on. If the tank is full, it will not turn on because it will not be able to pick up any more dirt or dust.
