Arts and crafts are a great way for teens to keep busy when they are bored. There are several great arts and crafts projects for teens to make. They can make them for themselves, or as gifts to give to friends and family. They are both easy and fun to make.

Decoupage

Decoupage is a great craft activity for teens. Teens can use pictures of friends or cut pictures from magazines, and attach them with decoupage glue to anything from a shoebox to a wooden frame. To create, simply brush a layer of decoupage glue over the object and arrange the pictures on top. If you do not have decoupage glue, try mixing white glue with water. When you have arranged all the pictures on the object, brush another layer of decoupage glue over it and let it dry.

Bath Salts

Bath salts are a fun and easy craft for teens to make. They also make great gifts for friends and family. Start by decorating and labeling a clean jar with a lid. To make an easy bath salt recipe, combine Epsom bath salts with food coloring in the desired color. Add a perfume or essential oil such as peppermint, vanilla or rose. Pour the mixture onto wax paper and let it dry. Pour the bath salts into the jar.

Flower Hairpins

Teens can make beautiful flower hairpins for their hair with just a few supplies. Start by attaching two silk flowers together with a hot glue gun. Glue a small gem or rhinestone to the center of the flowers. To attach the flower to a bobby pin, sand the end of the bobby pin with sandpaper and attach the flower with a hot glue gun.
