List of Small Kitchen Appliances

Some of the small kitchen appliances that we use today are so useful that it seems as if they have always been apart of our lives.  They are so convenient, small and easy to use. We use some of the small appliances everyday like the coffee maker, toaster, can opener or the blender.

The kitchen blender is a small appliance that consists of a jar type container that has a blade in the inner bottom.  The motor is the stationary base that plugs into the electrical outlet.  The jar container fits on top of the base to blend, mix and puree fruits, vegetables, ice for drinks and smoothies.  Blenders can puree other foods to make baby food.

The electric can opener is a kitchen appliance for opening metal cans. It is plugged into the electrical outlet and cuts smoothly around the metal cans so the top can be lifted off the can.

Coffee Maker is a kitchen appliance that brews coffee. The coffee grounds are put into papers filters and placed on top of the glass coffee pot. The water is poured into a chamber.  As the water boils over the coffee grounds, the coffee is funneled down into the glass coffee pot and the coffee is ready to drink.

Toasters are small electric kitchen appliances that can toast multiple slices of bread within a couple of minutes. When the slices are put through the slots on top of the toaster, the slider is pulled down. The toast will pop up when the toast is toasted and ready to eat.
