Professional Gutter Cleaning Tools
Anyone with gutters can attest to the fact that cleaning them is a dreaded long process. Most homeowners use the regular tools that they already possess, but using professional tools will help you get the work done in half the time.
Scoop
Many people climb up on a latter and use their gloved hands to scoop out leaves and debris from gutters. Using a gutter scoop will get the work done much faster. The scoop is similar to a shovel, but it is designed in a shape that is made to fit gutters. A gutter scoop will allow you to come into less contact with the dirt and gunk. It will also protect your hands from getting cut or scraped.
Brush
Even after you have removed all the leaves and dirt from the gutters with the scooper there will still be a slimy liquid that remains that can't be scooped. Professional gutter cleaners use a gutter brush to clean away this offensive smelling liquid. Brushing away this liquid will allow better water movement through your gutters. Apply a cleansing agent on the brush and scrub away the mildew. Once you have scrubbed the area clean, use a water hose to rinse the gutter out.
Scaffolding
This is another time saving tool that professional gutter cleaners use. A scaffolding is a transient apparatus that serves as a platform that enables you to work with adjustable heights. It allows you to cover more ground than you could with a ladder and saves you the time of having to climb up and down and move the ladder to continue cleaning across the gutters. This is especially helpful if you live in a two-story home.
