  • Kitchens. Disinfecting the counters and sinks can and should be done on a daily basis. The stove top and ventilation hood should also be cleaned on a daily basis. Sweeping the floor should likewise be a daily routine. Antibacterial cleaners are available for the faucets and toilets. Rust stains can be removed with vinegar and water. The floor can easily be swept and mopped on a weekly basis.

  • Bedrooms. Bed linens, ideally, are cleaned at least once every two weeks.  Warm water is best, for removing dirt and for the environment. They can be rotated out so that clean linens will always be in use on the beds. Sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting should be done on a weekly basis.
