Safety Tips for Bar Hoppers
Going bar hopping can be a fun night out on the town. When people are drinking, there are always safety precautions that every bar hopper should know. Knowing some basic safety tips when bar hopping can help you have a better time while ensuring that you are going to be safe the whole night through.
- Always travel in groups. Drunken people are easily taken advantage of because their minds are not functioning to full capacity. Traveling in groups will keep you safer because most people won’t mess with someone that is traveling with a group of friends.
- Know how many drinks you have had. Drinking too much can give you a hangover or make you black out if you drink too much. On top of this, drinking too much can give you alcohol poisoning. This is a serious illness that will make you violently ill and may cause you to go to the hospital.
- Always know where your drink is no matter what bar you are in. In today's times, people think nothing of spiking another's drink with date rape drugs or other horrible things. Because of this, you should always know where your drinks are. On top of this, make sure that you only receive drinks directly from the bartender or someone that you personally know. When you need to use the restroom, take your drink with you or have someone you trust hold it for you.
- Never go home with anyone that you don't know. This might seem like a good idea at the time but when you wake up in the morning you won't be too happy with yourself. Not to mention, there are several risks involved with sleeping with someone that you don't know.
