The Best Accelerated Nursing Programs

There are many accelerated nursing programs offered throughout the country. The best nursing programs can be found at schools all over the country. Ranked by U.S. New and World the universities below are the top five nursing programs around. 

University of Washington

The U.S. News and World Report ranked the University of Washington’s accelerated nursing program as number one. The program can be completed in five quarters and is full time. The deadline for applying for this program is October; matriculation begins the following summer.

University of Pennsylvania

Ranked at number three this university hosts a promising BSN accelerated program. This program can be completed in five or six semesters depending on whether starts program in summer or fall. 

John Hopkins University

Ranked at number for by the U.S. News and World report John Hopkins offers two accelerated learning programs in nursing. The first program is 13 months long and the second is for 21 months. To be admitted to either of these programs applicants are to submit to a list of requirements. The 13 months program application deadline is in November and the 21-month program's application process starts in November and ends in January.

University of Michigan-Ann Arbor

At number five, Ann Arbor offers an accelerated second degree nursing program.  This program can be completed in four terms, starting in fall and coming to completion at the end of summer term. The application deadline is in February.
