The Best Business Cards for Construction Contractors
Construction contractors may need to give their business card to potential clients in order to disseminate their contact information. However, keeping business cards clean and tidy in a construction environment can be tough. There are several types of business cards that may be conducive to the construction environment.
Simple
The best business cards for a construction contractor are simple. They do not have to include fancy design, but should state the name of the business and all appropriate contact information. Potential clients may be too busy to decipher your contact information through a too colorful background. If possible, leave the back of the cards blank so that you can write any personal information on them such as a day you plan to do an estimate.
Indestructible
Some business card companies have developed an indestructible business card. The card is made of a paper and plastic mix, causing it to be more resilient. This business card may be ideal for the construction contractor. These may stand up to the test of being in a pocket all day while also performing manual labor.
Outside the Box
Sometimes it may be best to put all of your contact information on a pencil, pen or tape measure. This way the potential client has something they can use and reference. Handing a potential client a pencil can be a good idea. The pencil can include all of your contact information and the client will be able to store it somewhere (like a breast pocket) until they need to contact you.
