The DOJ Violence Against Women Office Grants

The Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women also known as the DOJ OVW is part of the U.S. Department of Justice. One way they accomplish this is to provide funding in 21 programs or grants to help with the issues revolving around women’s violence.

Types of Grants Offered

The DOJ OVW offers a total of 21 grants to communities. Three of these programs are considered formula programs. This means that these programs fall under specific ways that the funds must be distributed.
