Top Exterior Vinyl Siding Colors

When it comes to vinyl siding colors, linens and creams are among the most popular choices for homeowners. In recent years, subtle shades of greens, yellows and blues have become more popular as well. People tend to shy away from bright, loud colors as this will hamper resale value.

Cream

Cream adds a rich look to a home, especially a home with a brick front. It is extremely functional as you can complement it with almost any color with shutters and window trim. It also looks good next to a background of pine trees and blends well with brick town homes.

Linen

Linen is described as a soft, pale gray siding that blends well in virtually any environment. It subtly stands out in neighborhoods where other houses are done in shades of whites and creams. Linen vinyl siding looks refined and is neutral so it will blend nicely with just about any outdoor landscape design.

Cornflower Blue

This color is gaining popularity, especially in two-story homes and condominiums. The color definitely draws attention to a home. Cornflower blue is not ideal for ranch-style homes or bungalows. The bold color would diminish a smaller home even more. The color looks good against stark white shutters and doors.

Colonial Yellow

This color is best suited for ranch-style and cape cods homes. Colonial yellow siding is warm and cheery and looks great in a yard with colorful flowerbeds and lots of trees.

Sage

This color is described as a softly-toned grayish-green, and looks best in larger homes. Choosing sage vinyl siding is not a good idea if the home is surrounded by green trees and shrubbery.
