Types of Bedding Accessories for Babies

Applause! Well, if not for you, then for the person you are considering buying baby bedding accessories for. Babies are so wonderful, especially when they are sleeping. Beautiful bundles of angelic joy, sleeping soundly for the next 15 minutes, until they wake up crying for their mummies. (Their very, very tired mummies). Well, even if they don't stay asleep, they can look good lying there until the next feeding.

Quilts

Quilts are not only great for rocking a fussy, colicky baby back to sleep, they make super decorations for a baby's room. Here's a fabulous idea: When baby has outgrown some clothing, instead of tossing them into the trash or giving them away, take those clothing pieces and make a quilt for some wonderful memories to be passed down.

Organic Fitted Sheets

A mother's warm, love-infused skin is the safest place for a baby to feel comfortable. Since babies can't stay on mom's skin 24/7, then the next best thing is on a bed made with organic, fitted sheets. Organic fitted sheets are made with pure chemical- and pesticide-free cotton. They are exceptionally soft against baby's chemical- and pesticide-free skin.

Blankets

Nothing says loving like being wrapped in a warm, cozy blanket. Blankets make great gifts and accessories because they can be so versatile for a parent or guardian to use. They can make great changing pads, heat protectors and cold barring comforters. They can be made by grandma or registered at Neiman Marcus. They also can be used as security blankets, like Linus from "Peanuts," but that isn't a suggestion by any means.

Mobiles

Want to start stimulating baby's brain? A mobile is a great way to get the juices in baby's mind flowing. Mobiles cannot only be visually stimulating, but they can be gentle soothers for a fussy baby. Mom and dad want to spend some time alone, even if just for a few minutes? Put baby in her crib with a mobile, turn it on and enjoy each other's company while baby smiles to herself as she intently watches the mobile. (Don't forget to have the baby intercom turned on so you can still listen out for baby.)

Crib Toy Bag

Sometimes when parents-to-be make an announcement that a new member is coming, they get so many toys that the baby's room can become a little cluttered. Not anymore, thanks to a crib toy bag. Crib toy bags can be attached to the crib, making it easier for mom and dad to keep up with all of baby's toys (and even more easier to grab and give them away when baby is through with them).
