Types of Interactive Interior Design Games

Interactive interior design games are available on gaming consoles and the computer, either online or with a CD. When playing games online, some may cost a fee to play. Using the graphics, people can use their imagination and design their dream room or home, making it as simple or elaborate as desired.

Design One Room 

First, you will decide which room of the house you would like to design. Once you decide on the room that you want to design, you will add items to it. Design A Themed Room

At the beginning of the game, you will choose a theme. Then you are to design your room around that theme, using items that pertain to the theme. Most will allow you to save your room to view at another time. These are perfect games for kids too. It gives them the chance to design a bedroom around their favorite theme, like pirate or princess. Design A House

These games allow you to design the interior and exterior of the home, including the yard. You will design each room, including paint, decorations, furniture and other items. You are also able to design the exterior of the home, like paint color, adding shutters and different styles of homes. You can even landscape the yard with grass and flowers. Games like this allow you to design your dream home. Some examples are: Sims, Home Sweet Home, Better Homes and Garden Home Designer Suite 8.0 and Architect Studio 3D.

There are games that allow children to design a dollhouse. Design the house anyway that you like. There are interactive dolls that live in the dollhouse.
