Bedroom
In the bedroom, ceiling fans, windowsills and any other surface area are dusted and/or wiped down. All cobwebs are removed, especially from higher up places. The bed is made and doors, frames and walls are cleaned up. The floor is mopped or vacuumed and small items like picture frames, lamps and jewelry boxes are cleaned and dusted.
Kitchen
In the kitchen the counter are wiped down and the dust is removed. The oven's exterior is cleaned and the microwave's interior and exterior is cleaned. Light fixtures are dusted, trash is removed and the floors are thoroughly cleaned. Dishes are loaded in the dishwasher or washed.
