Unique Gift Wrapping for Baby Shower Gifts

Part of the fun of gift giving is finding creative packaging solutions. Wrapping paper and bags are great, but with a little extra thought you can make the gift even more special. Since baby showers are typically themed, you can find plenty of creative ways to wrap these gifts in a unique and fun manner.

When giving gifts for a baby shower you will want to try to stand out and be unique. However, with a mother-to-be, she will be very specific in the items she needs and the items she does not need. In order to still be practical but have fun with the gift, turn your attention onto the wrapping paper and have a little bit of fun with it instead.

Storybook Paper

This one may take a little bit extra work but it is well worth it. It especially works if you know what the mother’s favorite nursery rhymes are already. Get used or worn children’s books and tear out some of the pages. You can tape them together over the gift to be used as wrapping paper. You may want to cut and piece the pieces of paper together in a fashion that will make it look more festive.

Blanket Wrapping

Once you have purchased all of the gifts you are going to get, add a blanket to the merchandise. Put the items minus the blanket in the box that you want to wrap them in. You can then carefully wrap the blanket around the box. Use a ribbon to hold the blanket in place.

Artistic Paper

If you have children or if the mother to be already has children, then get them to help you out with this one. Get wrapping paper that is white and sturdy and let them help you make the wrapping paper unique and artistic by drawing pictures and messages.
