Unique Valentine Gifts for Your Husband

Valentine’s Day is a time to profess one’s love for another. However, no matter how strong the feeling it can sometimes be difficult to do this. Women often feel the love when given flowers or jewelry. Men, on the other hand, are more difficult to shop for. If you are struggling to come up with a Valentine's gift for your husband, just know that you are not alone in the search for the perfect present.

  • Give your husband the chance to be king for a day. Rent his favorite movies, make his special snacks and get him settled in the La-Z-Boy for a day of relaxation.

  • Prepare your hubby’s favorite meal for him as a fancy Valentine’s Day dinner.

  • Plan a surprise getaway for you and your husband. This could just be to an extravagant hotel nearby or a weeklong trip.

  • Create a coupon book that has multiple favors in it for your husband to use at any time. Vouchers can range from taking out the trash to fulfilling his wildest dreams.

  • Find out what your husband’s favorite sports team is and purchase tickets to a game. Tell him that he can take whoever he wants (if you don’t want to sit through overtime at a basketball game!).

  • Surprise him with a new big screen television or computer. Electronics are always great gifts for technology lovers.

  • Treat your husband to tickets to his favorite band. If you really want to surprise him, consider getting backstage passes to meet the members.

  • Take the kids out of the house for the day and allow your husband to be a free man. Tell him to invite the guys over and work in the garage or watch the game, with no interruptions.

  • Sign your husband up for a class that he would enjoy, like a cooking class or guitar instruction. Classes such as these are usually for an hour a week, giving your husband the chance to have a weekly getaway.
