What Is a Psychic Phenomena?
The term psychic phenomena covers a wide range of areas. Many people experience one of these types at some point in their lives, but often dismiss it as deja vu or coincidence. It is often also confused with intuition, which is not the same.
Clarification
There is a common misconception when trying to discern between intuition and psychic phenomena. They are not the same. Intuition is something that is felt by someone who has interpreted life situations and applied them to future situations. For example, a person with intuition may be able to sense certain characteristics of a person based on their behavior. A person would be noted as untrustworthy by someone with intuition if they make limited eye contact with you and constantly shift movement. If it is later discovered that the person did indeed tell a lie, it is not because the person who found out was psychic, but instead read the warning signs that triggered a feeling of mistrust within them for the person. Psychic phenomena deals more with the supernatural while intuition is more of an instinct.
