What are Disney Resorts?
Disney Resorts are popular family attractions created by Walt Disney in 1952. There are resort parks in the United States, Japan and France. Each resort promises to make the dreams of every child and adult true. Millions of families visit these parks each year to see their favorite characters and to experience the magic of Disney.
California
The first Disney Resort is located in Anaheim, California. The resort brought the magic of Cinderella, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and other favorite characters to life. The Disneyland Resort consists of two parks: Disneyland and the Disney California Adventure Park. Not too far away is Disney District. Both parks and the district provide visitors numerous ways to enjoy a family vacation or getaway. Thrill rides, shows and Disney characters greet and excite all ages. Dining, shopping and resort-style hotel accommodations are provided as well.
Florida
Disney World is the second resort in the United States. It is located in Orlando and is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The resort has both a theme park and water park. Visitors can enjoy Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios all-year round.
Hawaii
The Hawaiian resort consists of hundreds of villas and hotel rooms. It provides many spas, lagoons and recreational facilities. Although it is not as large or impressive as the resorts in California and Florida, staying at the resort is a great entertainment alternative for those with families.
Outside of the United States
Disney resorts have popped up in France, Japan and China. Each resort has its own special appeal, but the main idea of unforgettable memories for visitors remains. The Disneyland Paris Resort is a big attraction in Europe. It has two parks: Disneyland and the Walt Disney Studios Park.
Japan's Tokyo Disneyland and Hong Kong Disney Resorts are two very big vacation spots. They have bridged both the American and Japanese cultures into one amazing experience. They offer a number of parks and attractions not found anywhere else.
