Jobs and employment services departments are utilized within several different industries to aid these companies with employment matters. These employment services are also available on a state and federal level offering employment services to the public. Some of these services are available for permanent or temporary employment.

These skill tests are usually computerized and test skills pertaining to the open job position. References are checked to ensure accuracy of the resume or application.


• Specialists that work within these departments conduct interviews with promising candidates to determine whether they are ideal candidates for open positions.


• This service provides drug screening and background checks for candidates who meet the requirements of the potential employer. 


• These departments place ads for open job positions within the companies and/or organizations in which they represent. 


• They review applications to determine where to the send qualifying applicants who have applied. They basically match employee to the employer's hiring need.
