Where to Buy Cheap Deck Furniture

Purchasing furniture for your deck or patio can be very expensive.  Wrought iron, wicker and wood furniture can be a very costly addition to outside areas.  If you want to have a relaxing outdoor atmosphere but don’t want to spend too much, you may want to consider buying less expensive deck furniture.  Cheap does not always mean flimsy.  Inexpensive furniture can still make your deck look perfect.

Home Improvement Stores

Your local Home Depot or Lowe’s carries deck furniture. If you purchase it at the end of the season, you can usually get it at a reduced or sale price.  You have to think about the upcoming spring and summer before the current fall season; this is when furniture pieces go on sale to make room for Christmas items.

Craigslist

This website is a great place to find inexpensive items for your needs.  Deck furniture is no exception.  People in your area may post ads for free or cheaply priced furniture at the beginning or end of the summer season.  Some people purchase new furniture and just want to get rid of what they have on their deck.

Retail Stores

Local retail stores like Wal-Mart, Sears, Target, JCPenney and Macy’s sell certain pieces of deck furniture throughout the year.  Depending on the type you are looking for, you may find deck furniture in these stores.  Wait until the end of the season to get reduced prices or check the retail online site for clearance or reduced furniture.

Restaurants

Though this seems like an odd choice of places to find cheap deck furniture, it is something you should consider.  Many restaurants have outdoor patios that are remodeled or updated every few years.  Talk with a manager to find out if you can purchase or even take some of the old deck furniture.

Yard Sales

Spend a few weekends visiting yard sales in your area, looking specifically for deck furniture.  When you go, if you don’t see any patio furniture, ask the seller if he or she has any to sell.  The owner may not have even thought about selling pieces of outdoor furniture.

Websites

The Internet has a wide variety of websites that sell everything, including cheap deck furniture.  You can try a well known sales site like Amazon.com and Overstock.com or browse the many websites that sell deck furniture.  These sites include MaxFurniture.com, ModernLineFurniture.com, PatioFurnitureUSA.com and Patio-Furniture-Direct.com.
