Where to Find Wholesale Flowers
Although fresh flowers are beautiful and pleasant additions to our homes, they can be pricey. There are places, however, where you can find wholesale flowers to decorate your home with, give away as gifts or even re-sell them yourself at farmer's markets and craft shows.
Check out the yellow pages. Look in your phone book's yellow pages under "wholesale flowers." The listings will direct you to local suppliers and vendors where you can find wholesale flowers. Be aware, however, that some suppliers may have restrictions on the sale of their products. For example, you may have to buy in bulk, or have a re-sellers permit.
Visit a florist. Your local florist just might be your best resource when you need to find wholesale flowers. They have contact information for flower wholesalers and the florists themselves, might even be willing to sell you some of their own inventory at wholesale prices.
Attend farmers' markets. Talk to flower vendors at local farmers' markets to see if they can provide you with information on where they find wholesale flowers. In fact, some of the vendors might even be the flower growers themselves and might be willing to sell you flowers at a wholesale price. Although the vendors might not be able to sell to you at wholesale prices at the farmers' market location, they may be willing to direct you to their farm, where you'll have the opportunity to see the inventory and make your wholesale flowers purchase.
