will not be back

My boyfriend and myself come in this restaurant every time we go this way. We have sent our friends there. As of July 31, 2010 we will no longer be eating there nor will our friends. A waitress was very disrespectful to my friend and specially to me. She hit him on the... arm so hard. And all through our meal she was acting as if to climb on top of him. Even as we tied to leave she was all over him. I did not care for this at all. She was not even our waitress. Our waitress was great. So folks I had a very bad breakfast that morning due to your very tasteless waitress. We will never step foot in that place again because of her. And I will pass the bad behavior on to everyone I know. Took forever to pay check and leave. So yes The Back Porch Restaurant is off our list. And we so enjoyed eating there prior to this. Belinda

Back porch warm family resturant

When in Townsend don't forget to visit the Back Porch Resturant.
The food is down home country cooking.
The service is wonderful. Rod the owner will sing for you with his blusy souful voice.

Ask for Theresa and Rhonda for your waitress. The Best service.

Tell them Jim and Cindy sent you. Don't forget the cobbler!!!

yummy in the tummy!

Absolutely delicious down home cooking. The baby back ribs fall off the bone, the steaks are flavorful and tender. The spaghetti is good, not great, but that's not what keeps locals and tourists coming back. The oh-so-friendly service makes you feel warmly welcome. The ...sweet potato is a not to be missed treat. The fried mushrooms come with a tasty horseradish dipping sauce that makes your mouth tingle. This was the first restaurant we ate at the day we moved here, and we keep going back again and again.
