Affordable Water Systems Inc

By law, all water municipalities are required to add chlorine to your water. The benefit of chlorinated water is to effectively kill most microorganisms that could potentially harm you if ingested. The very mechanics of how chlorine kills microorganisms, a process known as oxidation, also presents potential dangers to people who are in contact with chlorinated water over long periods. Chlorine compounds can enter your body through three main entry points...ingestion from drinking it, absorption through your skin when bathing in it, and respiration as you inhale the vapors given off, especially in showers. Once chlorine compounds have had adequate contact time and dosage to kill the targeted waterborne microorganisms in the water supplying your home there is no need for it anymore. Continued exposure to chlorinated water has many other detrimental effects on the quality of your life. It is basically a diluted form of bleach that fades your dark and colored clothing and dries out your skin and hair, many times causing premature aging and dry, brittle hair. You might spend a lot of money on lotions and creams to combat sensitive skin and hair conditions that chlorine may be solely responsible for. Affordable Water Systems strongly encourages you to remove the chlorine from your entire home water supply with a maintenance-free whole house auto carbon filter. Not only will you enjoy cleaner, fresher tasting water throughout your house but you will extend the life of the resin in your water softener, clothing and prevent many detrimental skin and hair conditions that you may suffer from.
