Blogging is not my thing, but here goes!

Okay, so I'm not a blogger. I truthfully do not see the point in blogs. I'd rather paint or draw than write (or type, as the case may be). But I'm going to *try* to hang up my prejudices against the blog and jump in head first.
So... Right now I am working on two portraits at the same time. One is a memorial of a lady that was killed by a reckless driver. It shows her as an angel holding her newborn granddaughter. Or it will when it's finished. As of now, all it shows is an outline. Portrait number 2 is another memorial, this time of a beloved grandfather fishing.I hope that both portraits will bring a little of Christ's love into the hearts of the bereaved and help to heal their grief.Seems like the memorials are a common theme, eh? I am seriously considering starting a separate site devoted solely to memorial art. That seems like a noble cause to me, and perhaps will give a little more sense of purpose to what I do.That's all folks! Well, that's all I can think of at the moment anyway. As blogs go I suppose this is rather short, but there's always next time!God Bless You!
