News from Center Academy in Altamonte Springs
Jan 31, 2008
We recently held a debate and mock election, with students taking the roles of the leading presidential candidates. We finished a great flag football season. We are busy working on our yearbook.
We have many fun activities coming up this spring:
- We are playing soccer with two other schools on Wednesday afternoons.
- We will walk/run laps at Crane's Roost Lake to raise awareness of the importance of exercise in staying healthy.
- Our juniors and seniors will tour the new Altamonte Springs campus of Seminole Community College.
- We will host several guest speakers who will share information about their careers for our community awareness program.
