Clear Bag Policy
Oct 12, 2025
Did you know the size and type of bag you bring into a football stadium or concert may limit your entry into the venue?
The NFL, NCAA, and PGA Tour follow specific security protocols. To speed up entry at stadiums, concerts, and races, we’ve compiled a summary of common clear bag rules.
- Clear bags for venues may not exceed 12" x 6" x 12".
- Bags must be fully transparent with no hardware or decorations that hide contents; acceptable items include clear purses and clear totes.
- A single logo is allowed on one side of the bag, limited to a maximum size of 4.5" tall by 3.4" wide.
For a smooth entry into the stadium and to make sure you enjoy the event, make sure to bring a stadium approved clear bag.
If you plan to attend an NFL game or visit venues like Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a speedway event, or the March Madness Music Festival, check our list of stadium-approved clear bags before you go.
Because guidance around health and security can change, especially following the pandemic, we recommend checking the official website for each venue you’ll be visiting to confirm the latest policies and requirements.
