Jun 18, 2009
The Cash for Clunkers bill could save our new Honda shoppers in Frankfort, greater Lexington, and greater Louisville KY a LOT of money - and Jeff Wyler Frankfort Honda is already prepared to give you the information, answers, and Cash for Clunkers specials you are looking for!
How does it work?: The bill should come up for final vote in the next day or two, and President Obama has already indicated that he will sign the bill. Under the current terms (before signature), a Kentucky new Honda shopper can trade in their gas-guzzling car or truck (gets 18 mpg or less) and buy a new Honda that gets better gas mileage. If the new Honda gets 4 mpg or better than the previous car, then you are eligible for a $3,500 voucher. If the new Honda gets 10 mpg or better than the previous car, then you are eligible for a $4,500 voucher. There are a lot of folks with questions in our Frankfort market, and we have created a Cash for Clunkers Lexington information page that has the latest updated info on the bill, FAQ's with answers, and a list of Cash for Clunkers Honda specials that will likely be eligible, to include the 2009 Honda CR-V, the 2009 Honda Accord, the 2010 Honda Insight, and the 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid. Visit this page to also get contact info for someone to call with specific questions, or email.
