Jacqui Marsh-Kraus
Hey there and welcome to my blog! My name is Jacqui, and if you are looking to increase your vocal range, lose your fear of singing in front of people, and just gain an overall sense of confidence in your singing ability, then you have come to the right place! I teach classical techniques in breathing, support, and placement. I also teach the physical aspects of singing, so that you understand how the body works in relation to singing, and the techniques that you will learn. I teach performance techniques to help you not only sing technically correct, but with emotion. My students learn how to perform music that they choose, as these techniques work with all styles of music. My studio hosts two voice recitals a year, which are open to the public. This gives students an opportunity to perform in front of their peers and an audience. This is also a chance to showcase each student for friends and family members. I am currently teaching 1 hour lessons Monday thru Thursday nights from 6:00 to 9:00. I do have a few morning and day times available. I am taking new students from beginners to advanced. My youngest students must be puberty age and above PLEASE! Currently my oldest student is 73!
As a Musician/Entertainer, I was on the road for aproximately 10 years, performing throughout the US, Carribbean, South America, West Indies, Virgin Islands, and Mexico. My repertoire includes: Cocktail Piano, Classical, Jazz, R&B, Motown, Dance, and Classic Rock music. I can work as a solo entertainer, and I have a band called Ladies Nite available for parties, clubs, and events. I am available as soprano soloist for weddings, funerals, and social events. Demos are available upon request.
