VERY SATISFIED
My Insurance agent recomendid Covington Construction and Mr. Covington was a delight to work with, their work was better than before and Mr. Covington was very respectful and polite to deal with. I would recommend him to all potential customers
Very bad experience
I had a very bad experience with Covington "Restoration." They left my home with thousands of dollars worth of damage, and acted like I was being dishonest when I tried to work with them in good faith to resolve the problems. When I told Bob Covington about the problems... in my home, he acted like I was being irrational. When I told him that I'd like to show him the photos I had of the previous condition of my home, he said I was dishonest. I am sorry I ever had the misfortune of hiring them to do the work on my home. It will take me years to pay for the damage they left me.
HIRES UNSKILLED LABOR TO DO THE WORK
Zero stars to be truthful
HIRES UNSKILLED LABOR TO DO THE WORK
One severe winter my home developed an ice dam that created water damage in my formal dinning room. I contacted my insurance company for my first and only claim since my home was built new in 1995. They recommended Bob Covington to do the work. First order of business w...as to remove the heavy build-up of snow and ice on my roof. I left my work to check on there progress. To my disbelief my roof was covered with Mexican workers equipped with shovel's shoveling up hill against my shingles. By then it was to late the damage had already been done. I called Bob after the snow melted to complain. A man removed one of my shingles to match the color and to replace the broken and damaged shingles. One week later they called and stated no luck matching the color and we LOST your sample shingle from the center of you garage. Now! shingles are just blowing off in the wind because his employees had no concept of snow removal. When I called Bob again to explain this problem he hung up on me.
NO WARRANTY on WORK
We have had several BAD experiences with Bob Covington Construction. We have one client with a $750,000. home that Covington completed roofing repairs on and 1 year later the shingles started falling off. Our client called Bob and explained the problem and Bob proceed... to hang up the phone on our client with no resolution. We wish as agents that we would not have referred our client to a business that doesn't honor the warranty of their workmanship. He apparently doesn't value the customers that we referr or he wouldn't treat them this way.
Wonderful
Never having to file an insurance claim before or any expensive remodel work done, I didn’t have a clue who to go with. My insurance company told me that I should try Covington Construction. I had a great experience dealing with these guys. From beginning to end they ...made sure that I was well taken care of. The office took good care of all the paperwork and the crew was very courteous and knowledgeable. I have no doubts of who I will call for any of my projects I have to do in the future. Thank you very much.
