I brought a laptop in for repair, and upon establishing the cost of repair decided to purchase a new one. They told me they could special order one for me if I pre-paid, which I did without hesitation. The computer came in 2 days later than when they promised me, and ...it was a used computer that they tried to pass off as a new one. They claimed that the scratches on the exterior as well as the scratches / spots and streaks on the screen and interior were a result of damage in shipping. However, they wouldn't show me the box it came in, nor the invoice where they ordered it from the factory as new. I will never deal with this company again, and strongly urge anyone to be careful if they do deal with them. Read More

Never before have i seen such a dishonest business. My Son wished to have a computer built and I suggested using a local company much to my dismay they were the worst of the lot. While they talked nice and of warranty work if anything went bad they have not lived up to ...it in the slightest. One week after spending over 1700.00 dollars of his own money the PSU broke, took it in and they charged another replacement part and were rude in attitude of doing such. Took same unit home and they PSU broke again in 1 hour, took it back and more attitude and then did a search on net and found same PSU sells for 1/3 of their cost and the review on this PSU was rated at worst available. Should be also noted that they promised if paid for in Cash they would pay the tax, another lie. Asked why Debit is not the same as cash and they replied because Debit is traceable. While the techs there were very knowledgable and were able to help me, I feel very cheated by my entire experience with Computerworks. It took a month for a part I prepaid to arrive and the whole time they lied to me about when it would get there. The techs told me this... was pretty common and I heard them say they wait just as long for their paychecks. I really liked the service. Everyone was very nice to me even when I knew the questions I was asking were dumb. I don’t know much about computers. I just got one for my grandson and he broke the keys off the keyboard. The store manager worked on the laptop for me and ...was able to order and install a new keyboard for much less than I thought it would cost. I have to admit that when I read some of the reviews I was wary about coming here but my experience was great and I will be recommending the store to my friends and family. My suggestion is don’t knock it til you try it. Its just impossible to please everyone but so far everyone I’ve asked said the service was good and fair. Read More
