We live in PA and when we come down to the Delaware area we always stop for some Copp's seafood! They never disappoint!!
Fantastic
We have never had a problem with cobbs. As the guy said, they absolutely would have reimbursed you for dead crabs. Which actually shocked me that that even happen. And to add on to that. Why didn't you check them? You didn't notice them not moving? And another person s...aid it was "dirty". Its really not. And one saying its pricey? It's a mom and pop shop. It's about supporting local businesses. And you actually gets a super great price on many things there. I totally recommend Copps Seafood to anyone who is looking for affordable seafood that is good.
great people great place
We go to Copps a few times a summer and every December for oysters, shrimp, scallops, etc. We have never been disappointed. As for the person with dead crabs in sure if you called they would have reimbursed or replaced your purchase.
Dead crabs
I am very disappointed, we paid $84 for 2 doz. dead/stale crabs. My husband and I went to get 2 dozens of large crabs since we live at Milton. Copp's was recommended to us by a friend. So okay we tried Copps' Crabs , when we were going to eat the crabs they were not wha...t i expected them to be. No meat, and not fresh. I eat crabs a lot and i know when crabs are freshly cooked/meaty. This is a ripped off and will go back to our regular Best Crabs at MistyCove, Md. Selling dead crabs, thats bad for business. We might have Pa tag but we are locals too.
Great Seafood
This is one of my favorite seafood places in Lewes. Their selection of seafood is vast and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone for sure.
Good seafood/Reasonable priced
I've gone to Mrs. Copps for clams for around 20 years. Always fresh clams and fairly priced. I've often bought shirmp and scallops while there. Always good seafood. I could easily go to other seafod places much closer but am guaranteed fresh seafood. I reccommend Mrs. Coops.
