I was working on a crew in the northeast last week. At the end of the day I had trouble getting my suv to start. Within a short time at least half a dozen people told me about the place they go for repairs. I did get my vehicle started, but after all the good, free p...ublicity the place got from all these folks, I thought I better get the address and phone number. When I searched the web to see if I could find it and saw these reviews, I knew, this must be the place, Craig's Auto Service. If I was the owner of this garage, then I'd be feeling good about the level of support from my customers. As the dutiful great-grandson of a strong supporter of Craig's Auto, I promised I'd check out and endorse my Nana's review of this business. We think she wants to adopt Craig. We kid her about crushing on the guy. Sorry, Nana but you could be Craig's grandmother, rig...ht? The thing about Nana is that she's not a push over and she's been a good judge of character for 80+years. I'm publically supporting Nana's advice about Craig's Auto Service. Craig's business has been in the same place for a long time. There's a lot of repeat business because the mechanics are good and Craig is definately in charge and he's honest. Nana likes the place because she says, "Craig is a good listener, devoted to his family, and a person who always seems to do the right thing, even when it's not easy." I researched "Merchant Circle" and found out that: (1) Merchant Circle will list a business without asking permission from the business owner; (2) Merchant Circle allegedly uses unethical marketing practices to get business owners to sign in at the MC web site with their phone number; (3) Merchant Circle then calls the business owner to falsely report that the business got a negative review or a request for verification; (3) The goal of MC is to get the owner to pay fees to check on their reviews.
