a co-worker and I used to eat at the Danvers at Kirby & Poplar for years. A month ago we wanted to order just a small salad and bake potato and they employee at the registered said they didn't have the small salad anymore just the all you can eat salad bar. so we just o...rdered a hamburger. So today we decided we to give the a try again. We tried to place and order for a baked potato and salad bar. The employee said the salads only come with fired or gilled chicken. We explained we didn't want the chicken we just wanted the salad bar and she would not sell the salad without the chicken. So I ordered the bake potato and my friend order the salad with the chicken. She fixed her salad and I fixed my baked potato. 30 minutes pasted and my friend had not received her chicken. We asked and the employee didn't remember the chicken and then turned to the cooked and ordered it. We waited but while we waited I say a guy with a salad and no chicken. I asked him how he got a salad without the chicken and he said he just ordered the salad bar. He said the employee didn't tell him he had to get the chicken with it. So the employee was doing what ever she wanted. Picking and choosing who she wanted to give them what they wanted to order. Oh did I mention the attitude. OMG Well I guess this explains why there were only 2 cars in the parking lot when this Danvers was always so busy you couldn't find a place to park. Well I guess the parking lot will stay empty. I will never step foot into a Danvers again.

Imagine my surprise yesterday when i arrived at a Danver's Restaurant to pick up my cal in order, that i could not have what i ordered. The clerk informed me that i made a huge mistake and ordered a baked potato and a sweet potato as my sides for a meal. This is accep...table, and the clerk informed me that Danver's would not serve both to prevent a meal being split. So, basically my side choice is not a choice. I could not believe a Restaurant would rather lose money to make a point, and ensure that i spend my money elsewhere. The server also told me i could not have 2 salads either..I asked her had they cooked the other portion of my meal? she "Yes" probably..I told her I like to spend money on food that i want, she said fine it could be put back in the warmer.. I thought;hmmm for some dummy to eat hours later maybe? I wasn't hungry too much i was going to eat the baked potato. My elderly Dad likes the fish and a baked sweet potato. In the South ...sweet potatoes are a dessert...not like an irish potato which is savory. Besides it's MY MONEY.. i was so offended. i walked out. It's ridiculous.. so i drive down the road and got a cheaper and just as good baked potato at Wendy's and drove around the corner to Abbay's and got Dad his fish and sweet potatoes (AS MANY OR AS FEW AS I COULD PAY FOR) ...Do you really want Olive Branch restaurant to carry on like that. If it is offered as a 'SIDE CHOICE" AND IM PAYING FOR IT. IT IS MY CHOICE. I can tell you there's probably a gazilion meals out there sold and split due to poverty...JUST STOP SELLING OB SAYS! THEY MAY SPLIT A MEAL! MY GOODNESS! I DON'T WANT ANY MONEY FOR FOOD!..This was not dine in. where i can understand SOMEWHAT!.ALL MONEY IS GREEN AND PAYS THE BILLS; WHAT KIND OF MENTALITY IS THAT??..ok...I'm moving on to better restaurants and I really did like your food at times and PAID FOR IT WITH DOLLARS I EARNED...NOT ANYMORE..CHANGE THAT POINTLESS POLICY; PLEASE.
