DOT Discount Stores

I think this is a ridiculous. I went to the store to purchase tobacco for my husband and was getting ready to take my infant son who is 11 months old out of the car and one of the workers was outside and said that no children allowe in the store. I closed the car door... and go back in my car I'm not about to leave my 11 month old child in the car while I go in to purchase something from the store. What is an ll month old going to do grab tobacco when I'm carrying him. Also they sell things for kids how are you suppose to see if the child likes it if you can't bring them into the store.
