The Esquire, in tandem with The Mariemont, are the sole surviving 7-day-a-week theaters in the Cincinnati Metro area (population 2 million+) that show art house films. And 50% of what plays there is mainstream commercial. A sad commentary on the state of Indie/Art Hous...e film in this area. The Carnegie Arts Center and the Art Museum also show art house films, but only for a few days each month.
