Golden Crown

We have been getting take-out (for convenience) from The Golden Crown for several years. We never will, again. They rarely listen to requests; value for the food is poor. Having requested extra onions in our recent fried rice, we not only didn't get extra, we got ...NONE. And when we called to comment on it, they questioned us (who would, honestly, lie about something so trivial?). If this was one occasion, it might fly. But we have been observing this in multiple transactions over the last few years. The arrogant attitude of the owners is unbelievable, considering that they are in a competitive market, and their food is nothing special. I went to the Golden Crown for lunch. All of the food was homemade, but the portions were small. I had General Taos chicken. It was not fried as it is in most restaurants, and the sauce had considerably less sugar average. The egg roll was excellent; I am almost cer...tain it was homemade. My biggest complaint about this restaurant was that they did not give free refills on my soft drink. That detracted from the value of an otherwise reasonably priced meal.
