Our dedicated team of specialists are available to work with banks, attorneys, trust and estate officers, private clients, and fami...ly members who are responsible for the dispersal of estates and collections. We also work closely with interior designers and decorators.
We will provide a thoroughly researched, comprehensive, written appraisal whether it is for tax purposes, estate planning, gift or charitable giving, or insurance purposes. Our fees are competitive and follow industry standards.

Serena at Gray's Auctioneers is so easy going and nice! I have never participated in an auction before and was a bit intimidated by it as i prefer the quiet and anonymous antiques buying i have been doing, however Gray's Auctioneers offers so many different ways to pur...chase that there is virtually no reason not to give it a try, and believe me, once you do, you'll be hooked! They get such amazingly diverse pieces and the prices cannot be beat! Pleasant experience from top to bottom! So happy to have them here in Cleveland!

Great place to buy art & antiques
I had a great experience last Sunday when a friend took me to the Fine Art auction at Gray's. She knew I was looking for paintings and select antiques to decorate the home of one of my clients. I had never even heard of this auction house. Normally I have to go out of... town to buy investment worthy artwork. This is a seriously good auction house with a great atmosphere. I was able to pick up some fabulous finds at excellent prices. The highlight of the auction was a rare carved cassone which received some fast and furious bidding from 5 telephone bidders, one of which was from Italy! It was great entertainment and everyone applauded at the end. Anyway my clients are happy with my purchases and I am delighted to have discovered Gray's Auctioneers. They are a great resource for any decorator looking for art, antiques, rugs and unusual items. Oh did I mention the prices are great too.
what a great discovery
I had no idea that an auction could be so fun. I never really even thought of going to an auction but I needed a rug for my living room & I couldn't find one I liked at a reasonable price. I wasn't even considering buying something used. I like new things but I picked... up a postcard advertising the auction & I went to the website & was intrigued. I went to look at the rugs yesterday. I had such a good time & found several that I liked & best of all they had reasonable ESTIMATES. Estimates are guidelines. ie the auction folk give each item a value with a low to high price range. Who knew?! So I went back today for the auction. I was expecting the place to be a mad house but it was really relaxed & the auctioneer explained to the few of us that were new to bidding, what to do & I had a blast. and yes I did buy a new rug - well new to me & now I feel really pleased with myself because I have this beautiful rug & I 're-used' and 're-cycled' this really great rug on Earth Day.
